Job description

At Mazars, we're agile enough to embrace change and deliver impact. So nothing is set in stone, and our people can truly influence the direction of the firm. We're constantly brainstorming ideas to improve the way we work, and enhance the solutions we offer. So you'll have a big say in the way your role and your team works

Are you looking to make an impact in Taxation?  Are you looking to grow our business as if it was your own?  And are you looking for open, engaged and collaborative teams?  Then apply to the role today!

  Summary of team:

Our healthcare team focuses on private and corporate clients within the healthcare profession, meeting their tax compliance and advisory needs in an environment of fast paced economic change, combined with complex and changing legislation in relation to tax and often superannuation.

About the role

You will be provided an opportunity to work with colleagues in our healthcare team focusing on Personal Tax and corporation tax with some experience of superannuation and annual allowance regulations, resulting in a broad understanding of the services we can offer our healthcare clients.

Within Personal Tax you will ensure a client meets all their tax obligations by preparing and submitting tax returns and other necessary forms. Within Corporate Tax you will assist with the preparation of company's corporation tax computations and returns to ensure that they show a true representation of the company's tax position. You will also review clients' business structures and personal financial arrangements to deliver solutions for their overarching financial goals and business needs. Finally, you will learn about the superannuation scheme, as it relates to Personal Tax liabilities.

  What are we looking for?

  •  An understanding of Tax, be that in a corporate or Personal Tax environment
    • Interpersonal skills; the ability to build relationships with a foundation of trust and responsibility.
    • Analytical skills; the ability to think critically, research and solve problems.
    • Attention to detail and strong time-management skills.
    • Commitment to self-development & learning.
