Job Description:
ProTalent is seeking a motivated and ambitious individual to join our client - a fantastic accountancy practice in Cambridge as a Junior Tax Assistant Apprentice. This apprenticeship is ideal for candidates who are either partway through the Association of Taxation Technicians (ATT) qualification or wish to study for it. The successful candidate will work closely with our experienced tax team to assist in the preparation and submission of tax returns, as well as provide general tax administration support.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the tax team to prepare and submit tax returns accurately and efficiently
- Assist in general tax administration, including gathering relevant information from clients
- Work closely with clients to ensure all necessary tax documentation is complete and accurate
- Support the tax team in researching and interpreting tax laws and regulations
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax legislation and any changes affecting clients
- Contribute to the development and improvement of tax-related processes and procedures

Requirements:
- Minimum qualification of 3 A Levels (or equivalent)
- Currently pursuing or interested in pursuing the ATT qualification
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy
- Motivated and eager to learn
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

The client is committed to providing comprehensive training to the suitable candidate. This apprenticeship is designed to help you gain the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in the field of tax. You will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals and receive guidance throughout your apprenticeship. The program is linked with a local college, providing a structured learning environment.

Career Progression:
Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship and attainment of the ATT qualification, there is the potential for a full-time employed role within the accountancy practice.
