P+S Personnel are pleased to be working on behalf of our client, who is currently seeking a Personnel Logistics Coordinator to join their team based in Great Yarmouth on a full-time or a part time permanent basis.
Main Responsibilities:
- Performing the day to day workforce logistics and recruitment activities.
- Identifying daily logistics and recruitment priorities, ensuring that these are actioned accordingly.
- Providing a proactive and consistently smooth recruitment and workforce logistical support service to the Projects with upmost professionalism.
- Providing support to the Project Team in the event of medevacs and compassionate leave.
- Collating statistical information for reporting purposes and producing monthly operational and HR reports in a clear, concise and timely manner as required.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including the project management team, HR and Payroll, ensuring that internal customer relationships are invested in as much as external clients.
- Ensuring that all relevant activities are planned and performed in a safe and efficient manner.
- Participating in regular internal and external operational meetings with key stakeholders.
- Interacting with customers and service providers on a frequent basis.
- Managing and coordinating the logistics on-call rota and being a part of the logistics on-call team.
- Ensuring logistical information is issued to the on-call team.
- Being responsible for all logistics processes and procedures on projects.
- Continually seek improvement in working practices in accordance with the Company's lean methodology.
- Monitoring PPE usage as per the PPE procedure, ensuring that all cost efficiencies are made.
- Managing hotel bookings to ensure cost efficiencies through maintaining good relations and utilising supply and demand to achieve the lowest cost.
- Creating and maintaining rotas for all contracts.
- Arranging accommodation and travel as required.
- Inputting/updating all mobilisation plans with any additions or amendments.
- Managing employee specific training as required for the contract.
Person Specification:
- Previous experience in a similar role within recruitment or workforce logistics.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages.
- Ability to interpret internal processes and procedures e.g. recruitment.
- Good administration skills and understanding of various databases.
- Ability to multi task complex logistical processes.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
