We are actively seeking individuals who aspire to become Physical Education Teachers/Coaches and Teaching Assistants to join our PE, Sport, and Education apprenticeships.

Role and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with teachers and coaches to conduct enjoyable, inclusive, and engaging PE lessons, while supervising and supporting children to ensure their safety and foster physical and emotional development.
- Assist teachers in planning and executing learning activities, both within and outside the classroom.
- Support students’ social needs by promoting and modeling positive behavior.
- Work alongside teachers to monitor individual progress, achievements, and development, aiming to help students reach their highest potential.
- Contribute to the delivery of extra-curricular activities and clubs.
- Establish positive communication with teachers and parents to build a strong rapport and ensure collaborative support for students.

Career Options
- Successful apprentices will have the opportunity to progress into higher apprenticeships, pursue university education, or enter the workforce in various roles within PE. This may include coaching in schools or community settings, as well as pathways into Teaching Assistant or teaching roles. We are committed to supporting your journey towards achieving your desired career goals.
Entry Requirements
- Level 2: A grade 4 or above in Maths and English at GCSE is desirable. However, for the right candidate, we can provide functional skills alongside the course. At least a grade 2 in Maths and English is essential.
- Level 3: Grade 4 or above in Maths and English is essential. Experience in volunteering or completing work experience within a school will be highly desirable.
- Level 4: Grade 4 or above in Maths and English is essential. A previous sport/Teaching Assistant/childcare qualification is necessary. Candidates should have completed a substantial amount of time working or volunteering with children in a sports role (minimum 6 months). Leadership experience in the field, coupled with prior skills and knowledge, is required for a confident entry into the Level 4 course.
Full-time Apprenticeship. Start date: August 2024. Salary: minimum £6.40 per hour
