Pharmacist Manager

Overview of the role

We are looking for a Pharmacist Manager to lead the Pharmacy team and to make a real difference at our pharmacy based in Hyde.

The Pharmacy: This would be an excellent opportunity for anyone wishing to undertake a new challenge. This position would be most suitable for an experienced pharmacist with strong leadership skills.

Services and Items: The branch does approximately 1100 items weekly & they offer flu (seasonal) Hypertension service, NMS, smoking cessation

Facilities such as staff room, car park, access to public transport - Parking available at the back of the branch, staff room on site

Trading hours -  47.5 including the Saturday, Mon-fri 9am to 6pm

Number of care home and beds - 0

Number of community blisters: Roughly 150

Number of substance misuse patients: 4

Relationship with surgery: Good

Does it have a separate MDS room? No

The Team: 3 colleagues- one qualified and experienceed , 2 trainees

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate must possess an MPharm degree or equivalent and management experience is required for this opportunity.

You'll be focused on leading your team to deliver the best community pharmacy experience for your patients and customers.

You'll be required to have your GPhC registration upon your start date.

You’ll be supported in your role by an Area Operations Manager and a Regional Operations Manager, with regular structured pharmacy visits
