We are looking for a Pharmacist Manager to lead the Pharmacy team and to make a real difference at our pharmacy based in Irlam.
The Pharmacy: The Pharmacy is on a busy road surrounded by other shops and opposite a supermarket, this is a great opportunity to grow the business and develop great relationships with the team.
Services Provided - Pharmacy First, BP & ABPM, NMS, Flu, MDS (approx 100) and 6500 items per month.
What is the patient base like? Mainly patients wanting MDS and FRPS
Facilities such as staff room, car park, access to public transport - Sufficient parking on the side roads and the branch is accessible to 3 GP surgeries and good public transport routes. It is also close to the M60 motorway.
Trading hours - 9am-6pm Mon-Fri
Number of care home and beds - 0
Number of community blisters - 90
Number of substance misuse patients - 1
Number of substance misuse patients - 1
Relationship with surgery - Good with 2 surgeries but room for improvement with another surgery.
Does it have a separate MDS room? Yes
The Team:
Qualified Dispenser - 32 hours (mainly MDS)
2 x TPA
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate must possess an MPharm degree or equivalent and management experience is required for this opportunity.
You'll be focussed on leading your team to deliver the best community pharmacy experience for your patients and customers.
You'll be required to have your GPhC registration upon your start date.

You’ll be supported in your role by an Area Operations Manager and a Regional Operations Manager, with regular structured pharmacy visits
We have invested in new technologies for our pharmacies including a new PMR system and centralised dispensing to allow you to focus on providing quality care and services to our customers.
We are focussed on mental health and wellbeing which is why we’ve put all our field managers through the Mental Health Awareness course to raise awareness and enable a greater level of support when working in our pharmacies.
