We have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Assistant to join our Integrated Pharmacy team at HMP Lindholme is a Category C/D men's prison located near Hatfield Woodhouse in Doncaster and is a former RAF base offering a large open site. They have a hardworking, supportive and friendly team that encourage career progression and further education opportunities.
Salary
This position is full time, you’ll receive an annual salary up to £27,195per annum - depending on experience.

Candidates are required to have a Legal right to work in the UK on a permanent basis and due to the nature of the role, offers of employment will be subject to additional vetting and security checks.
What you'll be doing
- Complete general dispensary duties and stock management
- Be working as an active member of the Pharmaceutical team to ensure delivery of the pharmaceutical service.
- Provide a timely and efficient service to the prison wings
- Receive prescriptions and stick returns from wing based clinical areas
- Collect orders from suppliers from the Main Gate and arrange collection of return
- Participate in dispensing of prescriptions.

Qualifications required
- NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Service Skills/equivalent or working towards
- Medicines handing experience desirable not essential
- Level 2 English and Maths or equivalent
- A non-judgmental and compassionate approach
- Excellent communication skills
- Good IT skills and IT literacy
- Ability to work within a busy environment Ability to work unsupervised whilst following policy and procedures
