SalaryWe are seeking a reliable and responsible Pharmacy Assistant/Delivery Driver. This role is to primarily include the delivery of medications as well as assist in the pharmacy with other administrative tasks. Training will be provided. This role does not include serving on the counter or dispensing.
As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting medications and supplies to various locations using your own vehicle. There is a mileage allowance .
Your main duties will include:
- Delivering medications and supplies to patients and healthcare facilities
- Ensuring accurate and timely delivery of medications
- Adhering to all safety protocols and regulations
- Communicating effectively with pharmacy staff and customers
- Providing exceptional customer service during deliveries
-Administration Support to the Pharmacy
To excel in this role, you should have a good understanding of patient care to provide an excellent service while interacting with patients during deliveries. You must follow all company procedures to ensure the safe delivery of medications.
You will also be required to assist in the Pharmacy with administrative tasks such as filing of prescriptions, shredding and ensuring background tasks are carried out to enable the smooth running of the shop and dispensary.
