* Job Title: Pharmacy Technician
* Location: Cumbria
* Duration: 6 Months
* Schedule: Full-time (Monday - Friday), or part-time
* Start Date: January 2024
* End Date: 6 Months contract initially.
* Rate of pay: �14 - �24 per hour dependant on experience.
A Day in the Life of a Pharmacy Technician
As a Band 4/5 Locum Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in covering various hospital wards and assisting dispensary teams.
* Supply medicines to patients and assemble medicines for prescriptions
* Offering advice to patients on the wards
* Screening in the dispensary, inpatients, and outpatients
* Helping the ATOs with checking when needed.
Requirements and qualifications required for this role:
* Current and valid registration with the GPHC as a Pharamcy Technician.
* Previous pharmacy experience, preferably hospital experience.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
Working hours and contract duration:
This position is Monday - Friday, with the option of working 3,4 or 5 days per week. The contract is initially for 6 Months (January 2024 - June 2024).
