A highly-rated Staffordshire pharmacy is now looking for an Accuracy Checking Technician or Pharmacy Technician to join the team, which could be on a full-time or part-time basis. (An Accuracy Checking qualification would be an advantage but is not a requirement).
The team works hard to keep pharmacy care as accessible and supportive as possible for all members of the local community. A broad range of NHS and private services are offered here, including new and repeat prescriptions, contraception services, chlamydia testing, flu vaccinations, and minor ailment and healthy lifestyle consultations, in a convenient location close to local amenities and public transport routes.
As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in keeping pharmacy processes running safely and smoothly - preparing and dispensing prescriptions (including completing final accuracy checks if an ACT), ensuring compliance, resolving queries, and supporting more junior colleagues so that each visitor has a pleasant and straightforward experience.
This is a permanent Pharmacy Technician / ACT position; full-time and part-time can be discussed.
Person specification :
* ( Essential ) Level 3 Pharmacy qualification and registration with the GPhC as a Pharmacy Technician.
* ( Essential ) Previous experience as a community Pharmacy Technician or ACT.
* ( Desirable ) Qualification as an Accuracy Checking Technician.
