About our school

With close links to the local community, we are a two form entry school with over 420 children from ages 2 – 11. ECPS strives for excellence in academic and pastoral provision, placing high quality, engaging texts at the centre of our rich curriculum.

ECPS is proud to be part of the EPA Trust. The schools within the partnership work together to provide improved opportunities for children. The EPA Trust schools work collaboratively on non-teaching matters to ensure that school leaders can focus mostly on vital teaching and learning. Our children also benefit from opportunities, particularly in sport, across the ten schools, as well as from the CPD provided for staff.

Enhanced DBS checks and references are required in line with our Child Protection and Safeguarding Policy, in addition to a robust recruitment process, induction and ongoing monitoring of conduct and performance.
