TeacherActive are proud to be working with a Secondary School based in Newton Abbot. We are actively recruiting for a Physics Teacher to support the school with good quality, consistent staff who re passionate about education and have a good level of experience with Physics as a specialism.
They are looking for a Physics Teacher who has an in depth knowledge of the curriculum and excellent classroom management. They re looking to hire for a full-time position and a permanent role starting in September. The successful Physics Teacher will be working across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4. This is an opportunity to plan exciting and engaging practical and theoretical lessons, and to provide a fun and informative classroom environment whilst achieving high results for the students.
The successful applicant will need excellent communication skills and be able to successfully liaise with colleagues, students and outside agencies if necessary to promote the well-being and safety of the students at all times.
The successful Physics Teacher will have:
- QTS with 6 months + experience (ECT's Welcomed to apply)
- Be confident in their ability to manage a class of students within the age range 11 to 16+
- Be able to manage behaviour in the classroom to ensure students remain engaged
- Be flexible to work throughout the school with different age ranges daily
- Have patience and resilience
