Equans is looking for a Pick and Packer to join our team in Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh Hospital, EH16 4SA on a permanent basis. This is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £23,362.00 and benefits package.
Shift Pattern: Working between the hours of 6:30am and 17;00pm Monday to Friday with weekends on request.
GENERAL OVERVIEW
Working under the direction of the Catering Supervisor, you will provide a reactive role that will be utilised to provide support as-and-when required across EQUANS catering outlets, while assisting in the delivery of a high standard of food service meeting the requirements of food hygiene legislation and EQUANS Food Safety Management System (FSMS) at the Royal infirmary of Edinburgh.
What will you deliver?
- Assisting in the delivery of a high standard of food service which meets the requirements of food hygiene legislation, Company Food Safety Policy and national standards as dictated by the governments national plan.
- To work within established catering routines using own initiative as appropriate.
- Notify supervisors immediately of any concerns regarding quantities or quality issues of food or food products.
- Use of dishwasher.
- Ensure area’s are adequately stocked and records of requisitions are completed
- Selection of correct food and portions as per ward summary sheet ready for transfer to wards.
- Delivery of food and supplies as required.
