Picking Line Team Leader
Salary: £13.50ph, plus Veolia benefits and pension
Hours: 40 hours per week Monday - Friday 7am - 3:30pm. Overtime and weekend hours may be required

What you'll be doing;
- You will be responsible for the efficient running of the site, helping to measure and control input and output, ensuring that processes run smoothly
- Supervise and monitor the work of teams and operatives regularly as required to ensure productivity and quality is in line with contractual and business requirements/objectives
- Undertake all tasks in accordance with the Company’s Quality; Environmental Management System and H & S Regulations
- Ensure that materials are processed to the required quantity & quality
- Assist with the training of operatives under your supervision
- Ensure that the operations are carried out in a safe manner and in compliance with all legal requirements
- Maintain discipline and behaviour in the workplace and deal with breaches of discipline, reporting them where necessary for higher level management involvement
- Operate the depot’s mobile plant, equipment and weighbridge as required
- Carry out any other duties which may be assigned by Depot Management
- Ensure that all related documentation is completed in a timely and accurate fashion
What we're looking for;
- To cope well under pressure and to work under their own initiative
- An understanding of recycling operations
- Self-motivated and pro-active, with good leadership skills
- Enthusiastic and good team player
- Attention to detail with a positive attitude to work.
- General numeracy, literacy and basic computer skills.
- Competent knowledge of production plant and equipment together with an understanding of Health & Safety compliance
- A qualified FLT/Teletruck operator (desirable)
