Job description

Overview of position:

Liaise with clients, sales teams and editorial colleagues and come up with image solutions that best serve our clients’ needs as we strive to produce the best quality campaign executions across the Partnerships team and other commercial editorial projects.

Key job responsibilities

  • Research pictures from photo libraries and client photo libraries and call in PR shots
  • Order high-resolution pictures and make ready for production
  • Commission and produce occasional original photographic shoots for a range of clients across the Lifestyle, Business & Finance, Sport and Travel pillars
  • Deputise for Photography and Video Manager when necessary
  • Work with editors, designers, project managers, web producers and sales to ensure the smooth running of commercial partnerships
  • Contribute to treatments for exciting and client-delighting video and photography ideas and shoots
  • Take in client image amends and updates to content in an accurate, accommodating and unflinching manner, to strict deadlines
  • Work to strict client and editorial deadlines
  • Archive and label all picture files
  • Be involved in and contribute to ideation/feasibility of Telegraph Media Group commercial partnerships

Specific requirements / skills

Essential:

  • Strong ability to deliver extensive and fast picture research whether for print or online products
  • Strong national photographer and picture agency contacts
  • Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Bridge and InDesign, Microsoft Office, DAM, Media Mogul, Google Suite
  • Strong ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
  • Good interpersonal skills and a team player

Preferred:

  • Experience of working in a commercial content environment
  • Experience of planning and organising photoshoots will be considered a plus point for this role
  • Knowledge of the video production process will be considered a plus point for this role
