Picture Framing Technician

Main Duties

Zinc White is a framing workshop in South West London specialising in bespoke, hand-finished, conservation framing. We work closely with private clients, artists and galleries across the UK.  You will be responsible for the process of framing; from client liaison through to the construction and fitting up of artwork into frames. Handling often high value and delicate artworks. Maintaining a clean and safe workshop environment. Duties: Client liaison Art handling Frame cutting and joining, digitalised mount cutting, glass cutting, Administrative roles, Frame assembly and General upkeep of workshop

Skills and Experience Required

We have 2 positions available, the ideal candidates will have previous entry-level industry experience in Picture Framing or other relevant experience.  We value initiative and awareness of wider team goals. An interest in visual arts, appreciation for high quality work, a keen eye for detail and an eagerness to learn are essential.
