Nicholas Hendry is currently working with a well-known, Glasgow-based business that is currently enjoying a period of sustained growth.  Our client is a large local employer that, due to continued expansion is looking to hire an experienced Part-Qualified Accountant that has experienced in supporting the financial month-end processes.

This position is a critical role for the team and the successful candidate will play a vital part in maintaining the efficient & successful day-to-day operations of the organisation.

To be successful in this post, you'll need to have previous experience in a similar role, where you have been responsible for, supporting with the preparation of management accounts, as well as, have experience in month-end variance analysis, bank reconciliation & reporting.

Other key duties include:

• Month End Management Accounts
• General Ledger Reconciliation
• Accrual & prepayments
• Bank reconciliation Analysis.
• Ad-hoc financial analysis work, variance analysis & investigation
• VAT Reconciliation
• Assisting with preparation of Cashflow
• Assisting/Exposure to Financial Modelling
• Assisting with Budgets & forecasting
• Support senior finance team with ad-hoc tasks such as, statutory account preparation, financial management and analysis.
