Accounts Supervisor - Glasgow City Centre - £35k - £45k DOE.

What does a typical day to day look like?

• Preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
• Preparation of corporation tax and business tax computations.
• Ad-hoc bookkeeping duties using accounting software as applicable.
• Preparation of management accounts for clients and reporting in their required format.
• Client VAT Return preparation and review.
• Take responsibility for your work and be able to multi-task in an organised manner.
• Meeting clients face-to-face and developing good rapport while acting in a professional manner.
• Ensure you understand the services we can offer and identify areas that a client could benefit from.
• Helping others within the team and mentoring junior members of staff including review of their work.

Who are we looking for?

• You should be CA/ACCA/ACA qualified or nearly qualified with relevant Practice experience;
• Proven knowledge of preparing statutory accounts under FRS102 and FRS105
• Working knowledge of Sage and Xero and Microsoft Office packages
• Working knowledge of CCH desirable
