Pipe Fitter

Due to undertaking a large conversion project we are looking for a confident Pipefitter who has experience and a strong understanding of steel and copper, fluid pipe systems so knowledge of different pipefitting techniques
You will need to have a minimum Level 2 Engineering qualification, and relevant experience with steel and copper pipe work principles and an adaptable approach to carrying out routine maintenance and repairs to brake and cooling systems.

The role of a Pipefitter

• Lay out, fabricator, fit and install pipework and components to form pneumatic, oil and coolant system
• Ensure the work is to current legal, national, industry standards by completing preventative maintenance & repairs.
• Safely, efficiently & accurately operate a variety of hand-held tool and power tools such as pipe benders, threaders
• Assist with fault-finding and pneumatic expertise when required What we would love you to bring to the role: Strong work ethics, a thorough and pro-active approach to task completion and the ability to work to a high specification are key to be successful in the role.
• You will also need to demonstrate excellent inter-personal skills and an appetite to learn new skills and progress the company forward.

Essential Qualifications & Experience for a Pipefitter

• Level 2 or 3 Pipefitting qualification and/or Apprenticeship
• Solid understanding of steel and copper pipe work principles
• Silver solder and manual bending experience
• Welding qualifications & Rail experience would be a plus
• Commercial or Domestic plumbing experience would be desirable

Package on offer for a Pipefitter

• Salary - GBP34,875.
• Monday - Friday morning & afternoon shift :
• Week 1: 6:00am - 2:30pm Monday - Thursday & 6:00am - 12:00pm Friday's
• Week 2: 2:00pm - 10:30pm Monday - Thursday & 12:00pm - 5:00pm Friday's
