We are looking for an enthusiastic Customer Order Management to join our team specializing in Supply Chain Planning for our Power Systems Business Segment at Sandwich plant in Kent, Uk During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry and power your potential!
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Working under the guidance of the Customer Service Manager, you will be involved with all aspects of New Customer creations and be involved in Community projects.
Prepare detailed Customer/Distributor Measures for review on a monthly and quarterly basis.
Continuous collation of data attributed to the business using Oracle/Excel and providing reports to worldwide customers.
Researching various attributes of the Customer Order life cycle using Oracle/Excel and liaising with various global plants.
Encouraged to get involved with all other departments at the plant to gain good knowledge and understanding of a global multinational organization.
Collaborating with internal teams to understand Customer Orders and requisitions, collating received orders in a timely manner and supporting with the distribution of completed orders.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Student studying towards a bachelor’s degree from across all business / business analyses or other STEM Degrees with a 2nd language as a benefit but not essential.
Proficient knowledge of Windows, in particular Microsoft Excel with being Computer literacy and the ability to learn new software packages, experience with Power bi is beneficial.
Attention to detail, analytical skills, communication skills (verbal and written), time management and prioritisation skills with a proactive attitude.
Can demonstrate, relevant examples of Cummins core values e.g. voluntary work, community involvement activities, working with disadvantaged groups, charity related support and outside education experiences.
