About the role
We have a new and exciting opportunity for a General Operative to join our Planned Works Team.
This is a key role in supporting the delivery of our Planned Works programme ensuring that works are completed timely and effectively, in order to provide an excellent service to our tenants. If you like doing a job well and want to help make a difference in our tenants lives, this could be the job for you!
The main focus of the role will be:
Collection and delivery of materials for the Planned Works team across Broadland’s properties.
To collect waste from Planned Works carried out, including kitchen units, bathroom suites etc. and disposing of them in accordance with our procedures.
To carry out minor works and repairs in line with capabilities e.g. gutter clearance and washdowns (damp and mould).
To support, when required with the responsive repairs and maintenance teams.
To help us provide an excellent service to our tenants, minimising call backs and maximising first time fixes.

About You
The successful candidate will have the following:
A Driving Licence as travel throughout Norfolk and North Suffolk will be required.
Evidence of working in a health and safety aware environment
Good IT, literacy and communication skills
A positive can-do attitude and the ability to work independently and problem solve.

The successful candidate will be required to undertake a basic Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
