Salary Our client is a Local Authority based in Devon and they are currently experiencing a particularly busy period within their Town Planning Team. To help assist with their busy workload they would like to appoint a Planning Support Officer to work as part of a team responsible for providing Technical support functions associated with the delivery of the service area functions.
Your duties will include, but are not limit to, supporting officers managing development projects by assisting in a range of administrative duties including:
* The preparation and maintenance of a database of planning files
* Assisting with meetings - diary co-ordination, preparation and circulation of agendas and minute taking where necessary.
* Arranging consultation and publicity in respect of planning proposals.
* Provision of information on development projects to customers and stakeholders, such as printing document/plans and letters when necessary
To be considered for this role you will need to have great administration experience, ideally within a local authority setting. Someone who is interested in Planning, is a quick learner, efficient, and good at picking up a variety of different tasks, with conflicting deadlines would be a great fit for this role.
The role will be offered for 5 months and they offer 37hrs per week.
The rate offered is £22hr Umbrella and this role is inside IR35. This will be an office based role.
