Form of workSterling Arrow is currently representing a prestigious client based in Braintree, Essex. Our client, a prominent organisation in the area, is seeking an experienced Planning Consultant to join their team and contribute to their ongoing success in urban planning and development projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with clients to understand their planning needs and objectives.
Conduct thorough research and analysis of planning policies, regulations, and guidelines.
Prepare and submit planning applications, appeals, and other relevant documentation.
Provide expert advice and recommendations on planning matters to clients and stakeholders.
Liaise with local authorities, government agencies, and other relevant parties to facilitate project approvals.
Monitor and oversee the implementation of approved planning schemes.
Stay updated on industry trends, changes in legislation, and best practices in planning and development.
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in urban planning or related field.
Strong knowledge and understanding of planning policies, regulations, and procedures.
Experience working with local authorities on planning applications and development projects.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in relevant software and tools for planning and project management.
Relevant qualifications in urban planning, architecture, or a related field (desired but not essential).
