Our client, a Local Authority in the North West is seeking a Planning Lawyer to join their Legal Services team on a locum basis, for a minimum period of 9 -12 months.
This position can be offered on a hybrid or remote working basis. Whilst full-time hours are preferred, Planning Lawyers seeking part-time hours will be considered.
The position would be ideally suited to an experienced Planning Lawyer who is confident acting with minimal supervision, but you will still be well supported in your role. Our client will consider applicants who have worked in-house for a local authority, or who have dealt with local authorities from a private practice angle.
Responsibilities of the Planning Lawyer:
The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking a range of planning matters, which may include;
- Drafting and advising on S106 Agreements
- Enforcement Matters
- Biodiversity Net Gain
- Advising on general planning queries
