A recent review of the Service has resulted in the creation of two exciting new Planning Manager roles, who will be responsible for taking the Service forwards and will benefit from a joint, collaborative approach as Senior Managers whilst reporting to the Head of Service.
These new roles will be key in motivating and supporting Officers, and bringing about new ideas and ways of working, including improved joined up thinking with other Managers of the Council to meet its’ objectives, most significantly its climate emergency declaration. The posts are significant to the future success of the team and the Planning function of the Council.
The review has also brought about an invigorated team culture with team members who are engaged, keen and actively seeking learning opportunities.
