Planning Policy Manager

My client is a Local Authority based in Sussex and they are looking for an experienced Planning Policy Manager to join them for a contract role.

The candidate will lead a team of Officers on all Planning Policy matters including supervising the development of the Council's local plan policies and projects, including conservation and to assist the preparation of neighbourhood plans.

You will be working with a wide range of stakeholders and can expect to come into contact with elected members, statutory and non-statutory bodies, developers and public stakeholders.

This position is inside IR35 and rate is DOE looking at around £400 per day plus!
