Planning Technician

We are looking for highly motivated and organised person to join the Strategic Planning and Infrastructure Team within the Development Management Unit, to provide efficient technical, administrative and financial support.

Primarily dealing with the administration of planning applications, planning appeals, enforcement and associated works. To deal with day to day routine enquiries either in writing or by telephone.

Essential

2 GCSEs (Grade A-C) or equivalent in English and Maths

Or

NVQ 2 in Business Administration

Or

Demonstrable relevant administration experience

Experience of providing technical as well as administrative support in a planning or similar environment

Experience of Microsoft software including Word, Excel and Access.

This role is suitable for flexible working subject to the needs of the service
