Plant Manager

As our Plant Manager your will be responsible for the management of the repair centre, ensuring that repairs and disposals are dealt with in a timely manner to a satisfactory conclusion.Key Responsibilities Managing customer expectations with regards to  breakdowns and delivery of service levels at all timesKeeping the health & safety levels in the depot a high priority on a daily basisIdentifying and recruiting employees with the right potential following the company’s laid down recruitment procedurePlanning performance and development reviews with your team on a regular basis using the company’s performance and development processes.   Ensuring that  individuals are trained and developed effectively to be able to carry out their rolesIdentifying fleeted items for sale which are beyond economical repair or classed as obsolete Analysing Idle plant reports to assist Operations with their hire fleet non-earning assetsRegular review of fleet register and net book values and report on pricing/costings To manage the effective repair, service and technical collaboration of equipment What We're Looking ForKnowledge of plant hire industry desirable but not essentialManagement experience is essentialEngineering experience desirable but not essentialWhat We Can Offer You25 days annual leave plus bank holidaysCompany PensionLife Assurance coverSave As You Earn SchemeCycle to work scheme Free on site parkingFree Tool HireTraining & Development OpportunitiesRegular Discounts (eg.
