About the role:

Astute’s Renewables team is partnering with one of the leading renewable energy providers, who own and run a portfolio of Anaerobic digestion plants. They are looking to recruit an Operative for their site in Stourbridge.

The Plant/Site Operative plays a vital part in ensuring the site is run correctly and high standards of health & safety are maintained. The role comes with a salary of �32,500 + overtime, callout payments and excellent benefits package.

Responsibilities and duties:
Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will:

* Support with the day to day running of the Anaerobic digestion plant
* Carrying out basic first line maintenance, such as isolating and changing pumps
* Operating mobile plant, such as a telehandler or loading shovel
* Take part in the on-call rota
* Monitoring the pant via the SCADA
* Keeping the site clean and tidy
* Maintaining high levels of health & safety
* Other duties as required

Professional qualifications:
We are looking for someone with the following:

* Mobile plant experience is desired
* Engineering qualification/certificate is desired

Personal skills:
The Operator role would suit someone who is:

* Previous operator experience in a similar processing environment
* Mobile plant experience
* First line maintenance experience
* Agricultural experience is highly desired
* Great work ethic
