Plant Operator

Position Summary: 

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Plant Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining our plant machinery and equipment safely and efficiently. 

Responsibilities: 

• Operate plant machinery and equipment according to standard procedures and safety guidelines. 

• Monitor equipment operations and make adjustments as necessary to ensure optimal performance. 

• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure equipment reliability and longevity. 

• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform minor repairs as needed. 

• Maintain accurate records of equipment operations, maintenance activities, and inventory levels. 

• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries. 

• Collaborate with other team members to optimize plant operations and achieve production targets. 

• Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge of plant operations. 

Skills/Abilities: 

• Proven experience as a Plant Operator or similar role. 

• Knowledge of plant machinery and equipment operation. 

• Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations. 

• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams. 

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. 

• Good communication and teamwork abilities. 

• Willingness to work in shifts and overtime as needed. 

Certifications: 

• Valid CSCS Card 

• Certification in Plant Operating 

• Excavator 360 above 10 tonnes - Wheeled 

• Excavator 360 below 10 tonnes - Wheeled
