EXPERIENCED AND ENTHUSIASTIC PLAYWORKER NEEDED WITHIN OUR WELL ESTABLISHED CHILDCARE PROVISION
Little Acorns delivers a high quality service between the hours of 7.30am and 6.00pm.
We are seeking to recruit a part time play worker to join us in providing high-quality, safe and stimulating care in our pre-school, before and after school club and holiday club provisions. The role includes supervising the children, ensuring their safety at all times, engaging with them in aspects of play and conversation, setting up activities for children to take part in, meeting and greeting parents and providing them with feedback on their child’s time at the setting.
Ideally applicants will have a relevant Level 2 NVQ (or equivalent) or above, preferably in play work, and have some experience of working with 0–7 year olds in a play environment.
If you are enthusiastic, honest, reliable, hardworking and most importantly willing to have fun and enjoy working with children we look forward to receiving your application. The full job description and person specification is as attached. You will work 20 hours a week, 4 hours per day Mon-Fri. Actual start and finish times per day tbc.
