CGE Yorkshire Ltd are a renewables company based in Thirsk, North Yorkshire specialising in the installation of Air Source Heat Pumps & Solar PV. We are currently recruiting a qualified Heating Engineer to work as part of a rapidly developing renewables installation company.
We are installing in the region of 4-5 ASHP & 4-5 Solar PV systems a week and the opportunity has arisen within our workforce for a Heating Engineer to join the team.
Systems we predominantly work with are Mitsubishi but we do cover all manufacturers on call out work. The job would be predominantly installation work along with some breakdown work (within normal working hours).
Working in a domestic environment you will be representing the company on a professional basis and need to display a thorough and meticulous attitude to work on a day-to-day basis.
Job Location:

- Head Office & Warehouse is based in Thirsk
Job Roles:
- All heating works as part of the installation of Air Source Heat Pump
- Underfloor Heating installation
- 1st / 2nd fix plumbing work
- Occasional breakdown / call out work
- Set up of heating and system controls run through with customer
- Reporting to head office with all necessary photographic job evidence
- Maintaining and organising van stock levels through our wholesale account
Required Experience & Qualifications:
- Gas Safe or equivalent
- CCN1, CENWAT1
- Unvented qualifications preferable
- 5 + years of Plumbing and Heating experience
- Experience working with Air Source Heat Pumps preferential but not necessary (Product and skills training available)
- Full UK Driving License
