Introduction

EVi Renewables are a market leading, customer focused Renewable Energy installer based in Dunfermline covering the Central Belt of Scotland. We are expanding our Renewable Energy and Heating Division within our Domestic Installation sector and have an exceptional opportunity for an Experienced Plumbing and Heating Engineer to join a fast growing company.

Installations will include Air Source Heat Pumps, Combi and Gas Boilers as well as servicing and diagnostic fault finding of heating systems.

The Plumbing and Heating Engineer will have a passion and drive to build the team's capability and build upon our excellent reputation. They will be required to deliver the safe installation of Plumbing and Heating systems as well as Air Source Heat Pumps in accordance with current regulations and Health and Safety requirements. The role will require installations to be carried out in domestic and commercial premises and the Plumbing and Heating Engineer will be expected to display a high quality of workmanship, attention to detail and customer service.

Ideal candidates will be time served plumbing/Heating Engineers with at least three years of experience and a strong background in the installation of heating and hot water systems - You should be able to carry out first fix through to system commissioning. Un-vented cylinder installation qualification is required.

The position comes with a company van, company pension, ongoing training and personal development and overtime available.

General Duties include:

Full installations.

Troubleshooting/Diagnostic fault finding of heating systems & boilers.

Preparation of systems for commissioning.

Landlord Certification.

Qualifications

SVQ / NVQ Level 3 Plumbing / Mechanical Services

Minimum Gas qualifications : CCN 1, CENWAT, HTR1 , CKR1, DAH1, CPA1, ACS, WRAS

An advantage : Oftec 101, BPEC Heat Pump or Level 3 ASHP, FGAS

Skills

Full UK driving licence.

High Level of workmanship and customer service.

Good level of problem solving skills.

Maintain service records and the ability to work job management software.

Experience of various manufacturers systems.

Fault Finding diagnostic experience.

Capable of working independently.

Experience of working as a Heating Technician/Engineer in occupied properties.

Good sense of humour!
