Circa £50k - £55k, salary dependent on skills & experience per annum

We currently have an exciting new position for a Portfolio Insights Manager to join our team on a permanent basis.

The Portfolio Insights Manager is responsible for delivering risk and predictive analytics platforms/reporting to meet the growing demands of the Delivery Portfolio Management team, Delivery Partners and Stakeholders.

Managing a team of Portfolio Insights Analysts, you will drive the introduction and use of AI driven outputs from our project controls tools (primarily Primavera P6) to facilitate impactful risk management and decision making across the Capital Investment Programme, ensuring an emphasis on tangible benefits and results.

A strong background in project controls methodologies, financial and project plan reporting is essential, alongside a working knowledge of the regulatory framework in the UK water industry.

What you'll be doing:

• Design and deliver a highly accurate PowerBI based investment insights reporting and decision making suite.

• Through machine learning techniques and predictive analytics tools, identify and highlight key learning from previous project plans, ensuring these are presented and embedded into decision making for current and future projects.

• Work with stakeholders to translate their needs into visually engaging dashboards.

• Lead and motivate a team of Portfolio Insights Analysts

• Monitor and report on themes and risks derived from our tools and reporting, ensuring strong representation from the team at Portfolio Boards.

• Embed AI derived predictive analytics into decision making.

• Take an active role to represent the PMO across the business.

What does it take to be successful?

• Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.

• Extensive PowerBI technical build and capabilities knowledge and experience

• Excellent IT skills

• Technical expertise producing professional business reporting

• Strong organisational and administration abilities

• Experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating with business stakeholders.

• Experience of Anglian Water Investment systems particularly TDW, C55, P6 and SAP

• Attention to detail

• Experienced manipulator of different data sets including performance data for efficient use to benefit the business

• Ability to develop and maintain effective data management

• A strong background in Project Controls
