Job summary
Operate cutting equipment and knives to cut and trim meatProcess food products according to specificationsRemove parts, such as skin and bones from carcass

Responsibilities
• Inspect meat products for defects, bruises or blemishes and remove them along with any excess fat• Follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines• Inspect and sort products for quality and adherence to standards• Monitor equipment performance and report any malfunctions or issues• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work area• Assist with packaging and labelling of finished products
Requirements
• Experience in food production or similar manufacturing environment preferred• Basic math skills for measuring and calculating ingredient quantities• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain product quality standards• Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and perform repetitive tasks• Must wear PPE such as safety shoes, aprons, chain mail glove and hair nets• Must spend time using hands to handle, control, cut and feel products
