Job Title: Power Apps Developer
Contract: 2 Months
Location: Remote - occasional travel to London
Rate: £450 - £500 a day (Outside IR35)
We are currently seeking an experienced Power Apps Developer for a short-term contract to transform our in-house system, replacing an outdated bespoke system hosted on Citrix.
Position Overview: We need a skilled Power Apps Developer with a proven track record in Power Platform development. You will manage the development of a new in-house system, working closely with business users to gather requirements and create a UAT version in a development environment before releasing it to production. Your role will include fully documenting the new application.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop data model-driven Power Apps and Power Automate solutions to replace the existing bespoke computer system.
- Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into functional applications.
- Create and manage UAT versions in a development environment, ensuring thorough testing before production release.
- Document the new application comprehensively and hand over support to the designated team.
- Ensure rapid and efficient development utilizing the Power Apps platform.
Essential skills:
- Proven experience as a Power Apps Developer with a strong track record in Power Platform development.
- Expertise in Power Automate and data model-driven Power Apps development.
- Ability to gather and understand business requirements, translating them into effective technical solutions.
- Experience in creating UAT versions and managing development environments.
- Excellent documentation skills to ensure smooth handover and support transition.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with business users.
Preferred Skills:
- Previous experience replacing legacy systems with modern solutions.
- Knowledge of Citrix-hosted environments.
