I am currently on the lookout for a
Power BI amin for an insurance client of mine. They are looking for multiple resources that have previous experience in the insurance space and with experience in the following:
- Install and monitor data gateways application on new VMs on MPI tenant. Work with the appropriate Cloud & IAM teams to get this done.
- Capture Power BI inventory and identify project teams/owners of all our datasets, data gateways, and reporting solutions.
- Capture all the data gateway configuration details i.e. server name, db name, login details.
- Create a UAT/Testing plan to test each Power BI reporting solution with the necessary reporting project teams using the new data gateway connections.
- Create all the new data gateway connections on the VMs hosted on the MPI tenant.
- Clean up user access to all data gateways using AD Groups instead individual named users.
- Work with individual teams and track testing of each reporting solution. Create a project and tracking log.
- Set up the new VNET connections (instead of on-premise data gateway connections) for all Cloud connections.
