We are now looking for a

Power BI Developer

to join our team working for a better future. The preferred location for the position is in UK, Germany, Finland, Italy, Serbia, UAE and Saudi Arabia.

What you will be doing

We are seeking a talented and motivated Power BI Developer to join our Ports Data Team. As a Power BI Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions that empower data-driven decision-making. This position requires a deep understanding of Power BI, Paginated Report, Power BI Services, MS Fabric, data modeling, and visualization techniques.

This is a fully remote role and customer facing role. The role will require flexible working  hours to facilitate business in global time zones. For this reason we are seeking candidates based in Europe and Middle East.

As Power BI Developer, your work will focus on these responsibilities:

• Designing and developing Power BI reports and dashboards to present meaningful insights and KPIs.
• Collaborating with stakeholders around world to gather and understand business requirements for reporting and analytics.
• Documenting best practices and guidelines for Power BI development and usage.
• Conducting data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies for actionable insights.
• Creating and optimizing data models to support interactive and efficient reporting.
• Collaborating with database administrators and data engineers to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
• Implementing security measures to protect sensitive information within Power BI solutions.
• Providing training and support to end-users for efficient utilization of Power BI reports.
• Staying updated on the latest Power BI features and incorporating them into existing solutions.
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Power BI reports and data connections.

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

• Proficient in Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, and Power Query.
• Proficient in Paginated Report Tool.
• Proficient in Power BI Services and MS Fabric Administration.
• Strong understanding of database concepts and SQL.
• Ability to translate business requirements into effective Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Experience in optimizing Power BI performance for large datasets.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.

Optional Skills:

• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
• Experience with SSIS, SSRS & ADF.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
• Knowledge of data visualization best practices and UX/UI design principles.
• Familiarity with other business intelligence tools (Tableau, QlikView, etc.).
• Programming skills (Python, R) for advanced analytics in Power BI.
