Power BI Developer - 3 Month Contract

Main purpose of the role:

We are looking for a Power BI Developer on a 3 month contract that designs and transforms data into relevant business information via interactive dashboards and reports to facilitate decision making. Will be an evangelist for predictive analytics. Using innovative ways to draw insights from data and show the customer the art of the possible with thought provoking visualisations.

Main Duties:

• Design, develop and deploy analytical products in Power BI using multiple data sources.
• Develop Power BI Premium models with dimensional modelling techniques.
• Develop strong relationships with the business and key stakeholders to ensure analytics support provided reflects business needs.
• Convert business requirements into technical specifications and implement them through reports that support decision-making.
• Implement data quality improvements across all departments to increase confidence that data can be used to inform decision making.
• Continuously seek opportunities to enhance data quality and reliability of data.
• Develop Business Intelligence and analytical products, prototypes for functional and enterprise use, including but not limited to testing, deployment and maintenance.
• Develop consistent documentation for data products.
• Be able to query using SQL in different databases including MSSQL Server.
• Provide Power BI training and develop training materials for end users.
• Deliver services and data products as part of the Power Platform using the suite of Microsoft’s PowerApps.
