SalaryA unique opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Power BI professional to join a marketing agency in the newly created role of "Data & Insight Manager", as they look to introduce and leverage the benefits of Power BI reporting for both their external clients and internal teams.
This is a permanent role with hybrid working arrangements - you will be required to travel to their Watford office around 3x per week in the first instance, likely then reducing to 1-2x per week over time, with some flexibility depending on individual circumstances.
In this role, you will act as the company's Power BI Subject Matter expert, and will manage and lead a small Data & Insight Team - you will immediately resume line management responsibility for one existing Data Analyst, and will look to shape the company's entire data infrastructure and reporting capabilities over time, making this a real growth role!
A primary focus of this role will be working directly with one of their largest clients, to deliver actionable insights for business decision-making, and in doing so you'll be very heavily involved in client engagements and presentations. You'll also produce meaningful reports for internal use, and will act as a real champion for Power BI within the business.
As such, this role would be well-suited to someone who is extremely passionate about story-telling with data, and who loves getting others excited about the benefits this can bring!
Requirements:
- Strong Power BI development experience including use of DAX
- Experience gathering requirements for reporting solutions
- Line management or mentoring experience
- Good skills in Excel (this is a major data source at the moment)
