Our client is Well Established Engineering company based in Redditch,
JOB: Power Press Setter
Pay: £12.50-£13.50 DOE
Area: Redditch
Hours: Mon-Thursday - 8am to 4.45pm
Friday - 8am to 2.00pm.
They are looking for a skilled Power Press Setter with experience with CNC roll feed/progression tooling to join their establishment.
You will need to be able to read and interpret Engineering drawings and develop components, working to deadlines and targets without the need for constant supervision. Ability to carry out a wide range of Manual and Mechanical tasks that are appropriate to the role. Ideally have a keen interest in Engineering and want to progress and develop your career. A background in the Metal Industry whilst not essential would be advantage
Day to day duties
* Setting and operation of CNC roll feed/progression tooling
* Adherence to Quality procedures including 1st offs and last offs
* Quality checks
* Understanding and adherence to company Standard Operating Procedures
* Maintenance and care of Machinery and tooling
* Be an active member of the Manufacturing team.
* Contribute in Improvements and Objectives
Skills required
* Previous experience setting Power Press machines
* Must have an in date ROSPA for setting
* Go above and beyond to make sure the machines are putting out quality parts
