WHAT TO EXPECT


We have an exciting and diverse opportunity for someone to lead JLR’s Propulsion Forward Model Quality activities (aimed at delivering structure and priority to drive improvement in Propulsion Quality delivery).  


As our Forward Model Quality Manager, you’ll lead a cross functional team working within  An Agile environment to agree the priority and work commitments for the Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR), that allow Propulsion to achieve the business cascaded KPI’s. 

 

You’ll get to collaborate with cross functional teams to drive quality excellence into our future product launches whilst also looking to upskill our quality problem solving teams. 

 

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

 

  • Lead a cross function team of engineers to deliver the cascaded business KPI’s supporting the wider Propulsion teams in achieving the goal. 
  • Deliver transformation projects to improve our processes and the way we work. 
  • Work with the Propulsion Engineering teams to provide technical problem solving support through the 6-Sigma community of practice.

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

 

  • Experience of working with 8D, 6-Sigma Define Measure Analyse Implement Control (DMAIC) process and Failure Mode Avoidance (FMA).
  • Experience of developing and creating DFMEAs
  • Minimum 6-Sigma Qualification to Green Belt or equiv PM qualification
