Our client who are a national brand recognised as an employer of choice within their sector are seeking an experienced PPC Manager.
As a skilled PPC Manager you will lead the online advertising campaigns and drive brand visibility, audience engagement, and the conversion of high-quality leads. In this role, you will be a pivotal player in creating and executing strategies that align with the company's marketing objectives and effectively target our desired audience. Leveraging your expertise in paid ads and social media marketing and analytics, you will continuously monitor and optimise national and local campaigns to achieve outstanding results. Working with the company’s network of franchise businesses, you will be a confident and clear communicator with the ability to instil confidence and reassurance around marketing activity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and deliver comprehensive PPC campaigns across multiple online platforms including Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Meta, LinkedIn and more.
- Generate high-quality leads that convert in line with monthly targets.
- Conduct thorough keyword research to identify relevant and high-performing keywords that enhance campaign success within the sector.
- Write compelling ad copy to meet the needs of the business and campaign goals set.
- Experience of managing budgets with a focus on monitoring and fine-tuning bids to maximise ROI, achieving target cost per acquisition (CPA) or return on ad spend (ROAS)
- Implement ad extensions effectively to improve ad visibility and boost click-through rates.
- Enhance ad quality scores through strategic keyword and landing page optimisations.
- Conduct split tests on ad variations, landing pages, and other campaign elements to determine optimal performance strategies.
- Efficiently manage campaign budgets with proven experience generating results
- Conduct thorough audience research to understand target demographics, interests, and behaviour, and implement advanced targeting strategies to maximise campaign performance.
- Analyse campaign performance and regularly report back on improvements and optimisations.
- Keep up to date with industry trends and competitors' strategies to adapt and optimise campaigns for competitive advantage.
- Building relationships with internal stakeholders
- Working closely with the inhouse national marketing team to share best practice.
- Coordinating with the marketing team to support optimisation of overall online strategy e.g. organic content and campaigns.
- Reporting into the Head of Digital, provide consistent updates and reports to internal stakeholders on campaign progress and results, ensuring transparent and effective communication.
- Experience of managing PPC accounts for lead-generation businesses
- Occasional travel will be required across our UK franchise network to provide in person support via coaching and/or workshops.
Essential skills and experience:
- Detail oriented
- Proven campaign experience with demonstrable ROI
- At least 3 years managing PPC campaigns across the UK.
- Ability to report back to Senior Leaders on performance.
- Experience using Google products including Google Analytics, Tag Manager and Looker Studio.
- Outstanding communicator with the ability to explain technical terms in simple language.
- Being able to set clear expectations and positively challenge when required to achieve desired outcomes.
- Experience of managing individuals in a target driven environment
Desirable:
- Implement and maintain conversion tracking to measure the success of campaigns accurately.
- Experience working with agencies.
