Liberty Towers are seeking an ambitious, creative, and driven Senior PR Account Executive, aspiring to develop into an Account Manager role within six to nine months. This role is based in Kent and offers a unique opportunity for a PR professional with prior agency experience to advance their career in a dynamic setting, taking on a variety of new responsibilities.
The ideal candidate should have a background in tech PR and a keen interest in sustainability. A passion for media relations and a robust network of national and tech industry media contacts are highly desirable.
This position allows for a hybrid working model, combining remote work with flexible in-office days, up to three days per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Writing press releases, news stories, and articles.
- Networking and building relationships with key journalists, influencers, and analysts.
- Pitching press releases and article ideas via phone or email.
- Distributing press releases and responding to media queries.
- Securing interviews and editorial meetings for clients.
- Participating in industry events with clients and team members.
- Generating ideas for PR and social media content.
- Monitoring media coverage and reporting results.
Key Skills:
- 1-2 years of agency experience; candidates with internships are also encouraged to apply.
- A degree in PR, marketing, journalism, or English is preferred but not essential.
- Fluent in English with excellent writing and speaking skills.
- Strong copywriting abilities, with attention to spelling, grammar, and engaging content creation.
- Creativity in idea communication and story pitching.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for interactions within the agency, with clients, and with the media.
- A confident and positive telephone manner for client and journalist interactions.
- Efficient time management to meet tight deadlines and client demands.
- Resilience and confidence in handling criticism and rejection
