As a PR Account Executive, your key responsibilities will be the following…
- Craft compelling press releases, tailored pitches, and media materials to effectively communicate key messages and brand stories for Consumer Brands, particularly within the F&B sector.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with journalists, bloggers, influencers, and other media contacts to secure coverage.
- Implement integrated PR campaigns across various channels, including traditional media, social media, events, and partnerships, ensuring alignment with client objectives and brand messaging.
- Serve as a point of contact for assigned clients, providing regular updates, strategic counsel, and campaign performance insights to build trust and drive results.
- Generate engaging content for press releases, blog posts, social media updates, and other communication materials to support client initiatives and drive audience engagement.
- Contribute to the development of PR strategies and tactical plans, conducting research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive insights.
- Monitor media coverage and industry trends, analysing results and compiling comprehensive reports to evaluate campaign effectiveness and inform future strategies.
- Assist in the planning and execution of events, product launches, and media briefings, coordinating logistics, managing media attendance, and maximising exposure opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including account managers, creatives, and digital specialists, to ensure seamless execution of client campaigns and integrated communications initiatives.
- Stay ahead of industry developments, emerging trends, and best practices in PR and consumer brand marketing, actively seeking opportunities for professional growth and skill enhancement.
Requirements
- Previous experience in PR, preferably within an agency environment, with a focus on Consumer Brands and press release writing at an Account Executive or Junior Account Executive level.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail and storytelling ability.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with media contacts and clients.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with PR tools and platforms (e.g., Cision, Meltwater, Hootsuite) is preferred.
- A passion for consumer brand communications.
