As our PR & Communications Manager - International Markets, you will work within the central PR & Communications Team to work on, help create and implement the PR and media relations strategies for the Middle East & India markets for The Bicester Collection. You will ensure the optimal positioning of the brand and of the Villages in the international media, focusing the communications to the general consumer market, the influential press community, influencers, content creators and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), the High Net Worth (HNW) and luxury travelling consumer, tourism professionals, internal staff and Brand partners, with the overall objective to drive footfall, revenue and the brand positioning of The Bicester Collection.
Key responsibilities
The key responsibilities of this role will include some or all the following.
- Develop and execute the in- source PR strategies for the Middle East and India markets together with the PR agencies, reporting into Head of PR- International Markets
- Support with development of local expat PR plans for the Middle East and India markets across the Villages
- Work closely with Central PR and Village PR colleagues on delivering qualitative international press coverage, coverage across influencers, content creators and KOLs, organising and supporting events and driving footfall and new customer acquisition
- Work collaboratively with tourism, PCS, marketing and retail colleagues to ensure brand positioning of The Bicester Collection in source markets is aligned with business objectives
- Manage external PR agencies on all PR issues including
- event planning and organization
- management of calendars
- sharing insights for the business
- briefings / talking points / itineraries
- organisation of and accompanying international press trips, KOL, influencer and VIP visits to the villages
- Support in business events to promote the Village including logistics and securing international press
- Organise and support with event curation for PR / HNW events both for international markets and across villages
- Manage, monitor and analyse process and reporting tools, check reports for press coverage and internal business reports and updates
- Manage and report into Head of PR- International Markets
- Work with journalists/editors to obtain well-placed, high quality editorial coverage in targeted press and media
- Create and update journalists and online/blog database and analysis for action planning
- Create news stories and editorial themes for pitching to international media
- Coordinate trade and travel press
About You
We are looking for an individual who can display the following experience and skills:
- Degree ofMarketing or Marketing communications is preferable
- Minimum 5 years experience in a PR role, with a preference in an international role within a large rapidly changing and fast paced global environment. Ideally within the Retail Luxury industry and with agency experience
- Interested in culture, art and design, travel & hospitality, fashion technologies and trends
- Understanding of PR, media landscape, social media and international markets and trends
- Excellent organisation and project management skills
- Ability to create innovative and effective methods
- Ability to communicate at the highest level both written and verbal in all departments, on a global scope with a vast professional and social network
- "Hands-On" management style and a problem solver
- Ability to work independently in a fast paced and multi-tasking environment with numerous deadlines
- Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines
- Fluent in English and local Village language, any other European language. Arabic or Hindi would be beneficial but not required
