A fantastic opportunity to join a lovely organisation involved in the low carbon technology and energy sector as their inhouse PR Executive.

The Role

You’ll deliver a PR strategy that sits within the overarching brand and comms strategy, as well as oversee the day-to-day PR activity, this is a heavy Media Relations role with lots of national, regional and trade press activity. From gathering insight, liaising with internal stakeholders, producing and feeding through relevant stories, reaching audiences, evaluating your impact and reach. You’ll also manage the relationship with the external PR agency, organise regular quotes and commentary for local, national and sector specific press. You’ll also support the Senior Leadership team with briefings for media interviews, event appearances and crisis communications.

You

You’ll have at least 1 years’ experience within PR, whether that be from an in-house or agency environment. A natural communicator and storyteller, you’ll be able to create and deploy communications as a lever for change: ranging from building influential relationships with journalists and stakeholders, through to working with colleagues to develop engaging content, to crafting powerful releases and preparing effective coverage reports.  Confident and organised, you’ll be driven to progress your career quickly in a growing organisation. Any experience or interest in sustainability or carbon zero would be advantageous. Ideally you’ll drive and have access to a vehicle.
