Job Description: We are in urgent need of a Project & Business Change Manager with value stream mapping experience to project manage a VRU intervention, ensuring delivery by 31.03.2025.
This project, contracted with the Home Office, will be funded through a Home Office grant.
The successful candidate will report to designated personnel, and their responsibilities will include process mapping, value stream mapping, and managing change processes within a public sector context, specifically within a Local Authority children's service.
The role involves a hybrid working arrangement, predominantly remote, with occasional onsite requirements at Slough Borough Council's Children's Services and Thames Valley Police HQ.

Key Job Skills:

• Strong Project Management experience


• Desirable experience in Public Sector Project Management, particularly within a Local Authority children's service


• Proficiency in process mapping and value stream mapping


• Experience in change processes, with a focus on analytics and data presentation for evidence of costs and benefits


• Strong relationship-building skills


• Analytic skills for identifying time/cost on task and extrapolating to caseload


• Some experience in finance and resource planning would be beneficial
