Practice Accountant

Role: Practice Accountant

Location: St Ives, Ringwood

Salary: Up to £50,000

I have partnered with a Chartered Accountancy Practice near St Ives who are looking to add a Practice Accountant/Accounts Manager to their growing team.

They are a small, but successful accountancy firm that partner with clients across the UK, they provide a range of services such as forensic accounting, compliance, bookkeeping, VAT, accounting and tax. Clients range from sole traders, to limited companies and partnerships.

Due to continued success, they are now looking to grow their practice team and employ an Accountant who will be looking after their own portfolio of clients.

Role requirements:

• Fully ACCA or ICAEW qualified
• Ability to manage your own portfolio of clients
• Experience working in an accountancy firm or practice
• Confident in building positive and transparent relationships with clients
• Working knowledge of Sage and Xero
• Able to organise your own jobs and timescales for completion and year end accounts

Role responsibilities:

• Manage your own portfolio of clients, preparing your own yearly calendar, whilst building a strong relationship with your portfolio
• Monthly and quarterly management accounts
• Bookkeeping and VAT returns
• Assist with accounting queries and matters for the client
• Completing year end accounts, managing planned jobs and timescales

Other Information:

• This opportunity is based near St Ives, Ringwood. This is a hybrid position, where your required to be in the office 50% of the working week
• Salary up to £50,000. Option to either work full time, or part time (minimum 30 hours a week)
