Practice Accounts Senior - Poole

A small forward-thinking accountancy practice in Poole is looking to make a cornerstone hire.
You will report directly to the directors, who will support and mentor you and your responsibilities will include the following:

• Managing and servicing a portfolio of clients to an excellent standard
• Handling inbound queries from clients, and delivering great client service
• Providing advice and support to clients in relation to corporate and personal tax planning.
• Reviewing accounts and corporation tax returns
• Reviewing personal tax returns
• Reviewing client records
• Delivering the firm's vision of how accountancy service should be.

The firm is looking for someone who fits with their drive to grow and deliver great service to their clients. If you are ACCA/ACA/AAT qualified that would be great but experience is key here as well as team fit. The sky really is the limit here and if you are a part-qualified accountant you could also be a fit for the team.
Ideally they would be looking for the following experience:

• Three years minimum experience working in accountancy practice
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Experience of FreeAgent and Xero is advantageous.
• Experience with freelancers or contractors is also advantageous.
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Commercially aware and able to understand the business impact of your role and actions
• Self-motivated and proactive
